Biography of Michael A. Kadenacy
Born in London, England
Came to the US at the age of 3 ½
After attending Virginia Tech, entered the Aviation Cadet Program and was commissioned a 2nd Lt upon graduation from Navigator Training
Volunteered for the US Air Force Air Commandos; was deployed to Viet Nam, flew 85 combat missions in B-26’s. Was then posted to Royal Airfield Changi in Singapore as a member of a joint squadron of British, Australian, New Zealand and US officers
Completed undergraduate degree at U of Nebraska while still on active duty
Posted to Panama with the Commandos and participated in counter guerrilla operations in Central and South America
Left active duty as a Captain to attend law school and graduated from Duquesne University School of Law, admitted to practice in New York, New Hampshire, and California
Practiced law in Los Angeles specializing in large real estate projects, negotiations and documentation; represented multi-national companies in the negotiation and documentation of joint ventures, usually with sovereign entities as partners
Joined a client as Senior Vice President; directed activities in Russia, China and India including the construction of factories in each of those countries and managed the relationships with 12 different joint ventures
Retired to a small village in Provence, France, raced sailboats as a member of the St. Tropez Yacht Club, then returned to the States at the request of our 3 children and 8 grandchildren!!
